Our Muck Spreaders are manufactured and maintained in-house by Agri-Hire Engineering. We have been producing our own range of spreaders now for nearly a decade.
The spreader design has evolved over this period into a machine that is robust, reliable and easy to maintain. This allows us to keep more spreaders in operation for a longer time, and minimises downtime for the customer during the hire period.
They are designed to spread anything from semi-solids (with the aid of an optional slurry door), up to Farm Yard Manure (FYM) and Compost.
The key features of our spreaders are:
. Large diameter contra-rotating vertical beaters
. Heavy Duty Rotor Gearbox . Spread width on FYM up to 18m
. Four sets of floor chains each with a breaking strain of 12t
. Extremely robust hydraulic floor drive
We have a variety of sizes of spreaders available from 10-16tonne; so please don't hesitate to call us as we have machines to suit most applications.
New for 2006 was our 16t Challenger Horizontal Spreader which has been introduced alongside our existing Vertical Spreader range to allow customers to spread a wider range of materials.
The Horizontal Spreader has been designed around the same reliable and robust chassis as the other muckspreaders in our range. The difference being it has triple horizontal rotors working in unison with a twin spinner deck to allow customers with smaller tractors to work with a variety of materials, without compromising on capacity.
Features include:
. Three, small diameter horizontal beaters
. Tough and reliable rotor gearbox to drive spinning discs
. Heavy duty "T" gearbox . Ultra-strong chain and sprockets for 100% consistency
. Reduced demand on Tractor PTO
. Spread width on FYM up to 24m
. Same robust floor drive as other spreaders in the range
This particular design gives an excellent shredding action and wide, even spread pattern. It has been in huge demand with cattle, pig and poultry farmers alike; as well as being particularly suitable for Limex and compost spreading.
